Your boudoir session is right around the corner and you’re wondering, what should I expect? I got you babes!

WHAT TO EXPECT

This may be out of your comfort zone and something you’d never thought you would ever do, but you’re here, you’re doing the damn thing! You should be SO proud of yourself! Boudoir is such a empowering and beautiful experience. They are so fun, and a big girls day! Imagine getting your hair and makeup done, whiling sipping your coffee or champagne, music playing, with lots of laughter. Sounds fun right? Because it is! You will leave your session feeling like we can be friends and should go out for a glass of wine.

I want you to feel comfortable. Boudoir is such a vulnerable experience. I want you to feel confident in my studio as well as comfortable, and I promise I will do everything in my power to make you feel your best self!

GO TIME

Your session is here. Hair and makeup is the fun part! I like to include hair & makeup in all of my packages and ask you show up with loose fitting clothes to ensure your have no tight red lines on your skin. Think “chilling in my sweat pants with no make up on vibe”. I want my clients to feel fully pampered once they enter my studio so there isn’t much you need to bring! You will be greeted with champagne or something to drink.

Come with a clean and makeup free face. My makeup artist is AMAZING and work with every tone, color, age, or texture skin. If you have any questions, concerns or limitations with makeup, let us know before the shoot. Come with DRY hair. My stylist uses a few different styling wands, straighteners, or combs to style your hair. Hair is best styled when its washed the day before and has a little “dirty texture” to it. Greasy hair or oily hair is best washed in the morning and air dried before your session.

You should expect about 2 to 2.5 hours for hair and makeup, depending on how thick your hair is, and how much glam you would like.

After your done with hair and makeup, you will check out the client closet! The best part!! I have a full client closet of lingerie ranging from small to 5x. I also have fish nets, body suits, dress shirts, and cropped white t shirts. The fun part of boudoir, is you can wear anything you’d like! You will select a handful of outfits to try on, then choose 3-4 outfits to wear for your session.

POSING

I don’t expect you to know what you are doing in front of the camera, so leave that up to me! The first 10 minutes of every session always feel a little awkward till you relax a bit in front of the camera. I will pose, guide, and direct you constantly, making sure that you look absolutely amazing. I will even roll around on the floor and show you poses, so you know exactly how to do it! You will hear me say “mouth breathe” and “pop your booty” probably 50x during your session! I love to capture genuine laughs and catch your natural beauty. I always have music playing while I photograph, allows the nerves to relax and for you to have fun.  Sometimes the sexiest part of us is our smile, so do NOT be afraid to giggle and have fun! 

I want you to be yourself.  I want to show you how I view you, and how the world views you. I want to make you realize how worthy you are and help you love yourself. This will be one of the best experiences that you will do for yourself!
