Your boudoir session is right around the corner and you’re wondering, what should I expect? I got you babes! Preparing for a boudoir shoot is an exciting journey, and I’m here to guide you through it.
A Big, Empowering Experience
Boudoir might feel like something outside your comfort zone, and it’s okay if you never thought you’d do it—but guess what? You’re here, you’re doing the damn thing, and that’s something to be SO proud of! Preparing for a boudoir shoot can feel like a huge milestone.
Boudoir is empowering and beautiful. It’s a fun, big girls’ day! Imagine getting your hair and makeup done, sipping on coffee or champagne, music playing in the background, and lots of laughter. Sounds fun, right? Because it totally is! By the end of your session, you’ll feel like we should go grab a glass of wine together!
My goal is for you to feel comfortable and confident while preparing for a boudoir shoot. Boudoir is a vulnerable experience, but I promise to make you feel at ease and ensure you leave feeling like your best self!

Go Time: Hair, Makeup, and Prep
Relax, Get Pampered, and Enjoy the Process
Your session is finally here! We’ll start with hair and makeup, which is the fun part. I include this in all of my packages because I want you to feel fully pampered the moment you step into my studio, making preparing for a boudoir shoot a relaxing experience.
- Loose-fitting clothes: Please arrive in loose clothes to avoid any tight red lines on your skin (think “chilling in sweatpants with no makeup”).
- Clean and makeup-free face: My makeup artist is amazing and works with every skin tone and texture, so come with a fresh, clean face and dry hair.
For hair, it’s best if it’s washed the day before and has a little “dirty texture” to it. If your hair is greasy or oily, wash it in the morning and let it air dry before your session.
Hair and makeup typically take about 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on the length and thickness of your hair and how much glam you want!

Time to Check Out the Client Closet!
This is the fun part! After hair and makeup, you’ll head to my client closet, which is full of amazing lingerie, bodysuits, fishnets, cropped shirts, and more, in sizes ranging from small to 5X, making preparing for a boudoir shoot a truly enjoyable process.
You’ll try on a few outfits, then choose 3-4 looks to wear for your session. You can wear whatever makes you feel amazing—the possibilities are endless!
Posing: Leave It to Me
Guided Posing for the Perfect Shots
Don’t worry about how to pose—I’ve got you covered! The first 10 minutes might feel a bit awkward as you settle into the session, but after that, you’ll feel much more relaxed.
I’ll guide you through every step, showing you exactly what to do. I might even get down on the floor to demonstrate! You’ll probably hear me say things like “mouth breathe” and “pop your booty” quite a few times during the session!
We’ll keep the energy light by playing music and encouraging genuine laughs. Sometimes, the sexiest part of us is our smile, so don’t be afraid to giggle and have fun!

Embrace Your Confidence
The goal of boudoir is to show you how I see you—beautiful, confident, and worthy. I want you to feel empowered and leave this experience knowing how amazing you truly are.
This will be one of the best experiences you’ll do for yourself, and I’m here to guide you through every moment of preparing for a boudoir shoot.
